A brief note to say that I’m filling in at late notice to lead a walk at Rye Harbour nature reserve (East Sussex) this coming Sunday morning (2nd March).
This will be a little different to my usual walks, with a focus on wetland birds such as redshank, curlew, little grebe and wigeon. Though we should hear some songbirds too - the skylarks are in fine voice already at Rye.
The event is organised by Sussex Wildlife Trust.

If you know someone who may be interested, do pass this along.
Thank you.
