🎶 Last birdsong walkshop of 2024 🎶 - Saturday 8 June
Our last walk of the season is at Stanmer Park, Brighton
Bird migration is slowing and the song has a little less zap to it. But there’s much still to enjoy.
There are still three places available for next week’s final in-the-flesh, not-too-early birdsong walkshop of 2024.
We’ll spend the morning listening for crests, warblers, buntings, woodpeckers and more birds of the parkland and downland in Stanmer Park, Brighton.
And we’ll end with a cup of tea and some cake at The One Garden.
The standard cost is £35 (and there’s a £10 discount for paying subscribers to Shriek of the Week, and for graduates of Birdsong Essentials - contact me for the promo code if you need it).
Recent feedback on the Stanmer walkshops:
If you have the opportunity to join a Birdsong Academy walkshop, don't miss it. Listening to birds after the walk feels like a whole new experience, and it's wonderful to recognise familiar birdsong and enhance your sound recognition and knowledge.

Early June: peak nest cam season
🪺 On this morning’s Early Bird Club call we enjoyed dipping into the Springwatch livecams - how often do you get to see a reed warbler on its nest?
And recently over on Shriek of the Week…
Enjoy the birds 🕊️
